What this is:
This resource makes it much easier to make Power Armor Paints.
This file include Photoshop files of each type of Power Armor texture. The Armor has been cut off the base.
Each file contains two layers, the BASE and Armor.
Using it is simply a matter of selecting the Armor layer and using the Quick Select tool to select all of the piece. Another layer can be added and then filled with color or texture so that only the Armors have that color. Details can be copied from the Armor layer. Additional details and decals can be added (but are not included)
The images on this page are some examples of the recent power armor paints I have made using these resources.
If you don't know how to make Power Armor Paints there is a video tutorials on this page.
A start to finish tutorial is currently being worked up (gimme time guys)
Feel free to use them in making your own mods.
I don't require credit for this but if you do that's cool
What's New in Version 1.0.3 See changelog
Released
This updated version is the same files which have been modified to include more details, namely all of the bolts have been cut out and moved to the BASE layer which will give your paint jobs more realism and detail.
A start to finish tutorial on how to make your own power armor paint mod with an included Perk Magazine for crafting is currently being worked up
NEW in the Final Version 1.0.3:
Custom Post War Filters have been added to fit each power armor template. Using them is fairly simple. Once you have your final "clean" version done (remember to save!) then open the Post War Filter for that piece, select all, copy then return to your clean version and paste as a new layer at the top of the stack. I recommend that you rename this layer to "Post War". When saving then you can hide the post war layer for clean version and re-enable it for the Post War version.
I normally label the textures when saving such as:
T45arm_d (this is for Clean)
T45armPW_d (this is for Post War)
Of course you will need to make separate material files for each and separate records in the CK as well. Follow the Start to Finish Tutorial for more information.
