About.png

This is an NPC cosmetic replacement for Jordis The Shieldmaiden, which uses high definition head meshes and textures of the character Ellie, ported over from The Last of Us: Part 2. - OR standalone follower Ellie.

Character Background: Jordis The Shieldmaiden is a Nord Housecarl who is appointed to the Dragonborn by Jarl Elisif The Fair of Solitude after completing five miscellaneous quests for people around Solitude, completing Jarl Elisif's personal request and purchasing Proudspire Manor.

Information.png

TLOU2 Ellie Standalone Follower (1-H Sword, Archery).

Located in Winking Skeever, Solitude

FOMOD Options:

 - 2K or 4K textures

CONFLICTS
- Any other mod that makes changes to Jordis' appearance or stats. (only if using the replacer version)

If it's only stats, then this mod can be loaded afterwards. If it's appearance, then it's a definitive no, unless you know how to use TESEdit to remove the npc entry for Jordis from the conflicting mod (if it's a multi NPC mod).

If there are any issues with this mod, let me know in the comments and I will try to fix it as soon as possible.

I'm familiar with TLOU but have not been a console gamer for over a decade. Ellie's appearance is the most realistic I've come across after spending countless hours perusing the ocean of Skyrim follower mods . It's not that I don't appreciate the flawless appearance of my follower list but she is really something else in VR. Her facial imperfection has a unique human quality to it. She will definitely remain a staple follower in my current & subsequent playthroughs.

However, I'm in a predicament with two large negatives that I'm trying to find a solution for.

1. Inside of her mouth is black where you can only vaguely makeout the outline of her teeth.

2. When she turns her head (left/right) her neck twists and sticks out in the opposite direction. This is even more obvious when in VR.

I would appreciate and suggestions to rectify my situation. I really don't want to ''blacklist' her from my follower list.

thank you!

Response from the author:

Mouth - defective shaders

Neck - Weighting issues

I'll look into fixing those.
